Why I Created Ongkrong
I know exactly how you feel because I was once an international student attempting to get a job in Australia. I sent out 247 resumes and cover letters within 4 months and got little to no responses. I started to assume that maybe it was all due of my visa.But the visa wasn't the true problem. It was how I set myself up.When I learnt how to modify my thinking, write a good resume, write a cover letter that fits the job, and make my value clear, everything changed. In just three years, I went from entry-level job in the government to a senior position. I did this while studying full-time for my Master's degree and working toward my CPA.Since then, I've helped more than 100 students and professionals from all over the world get jobs in both the private and public sectors.
